Get ready because the show is about to start as the city’s newest entertainment hotspot is open for business! The multi level complex is set to be the next step in facilitating Macau’s burgeoning tourism scene, as well as creating a new center for entertainment. Studio City offers an extremely diverse range of activities all jammed into a new landmark structure.
Studio City boasts 1600 hotel rooms spread out over two towers and a 30,000ft colossal sized shopping mall. What makes Studio City special though are the 6 exciting resident attractions at the complex.
The Golden Reel
Studio City is characterized by its 1930’s art deco exterior and interior. Most of all by the huge ferris wheel embedded into the body of the building. The ferris wheel known as The Golden Reel is Asia’s highest ferris wheel and is the world’s first ferris wheel that travels in a figure 8 shape.
Batman Dark Flight
Batman Dark Flight is an interactive ride that provides Batman fans with a thrilling flight simulation experience based on the showdowns of Gotham City. Fly through the city with Batman on his Batmobile and Batplane as he fights for the city’s freedom and justice against infamous villains like the Joker and Bane.
The House of Magic
The House of Magic is a unique performance of magic acts performed by some of the world’s best magicians. Hosted by by famous illusionist, Franz Harary, the show marks the start of creating a venue in Asia for magicians from all over the world. The show is spread out over three different theaters and includes Harary’s permanent show ‘Mega Magic’ as well another two shows with featuring magicians.
Warner Bros. Fun Zone
The 40,000 sq ft indoor amusement park is a fun-filled world with rides and hands-on game zones and where characters from Warner Bros. and DC Comics meet characters from the film studio such as Bugs Bunny, Sylvester and Tweety Pie.
Studio City Event Center
A 5,000 seat events center will also be part of Studio City that will be able to facilitate concerts, theatrical performances and sporting events.
Pacha – one of the best known clubs in the world (with venues in Ibiza, New York, Dubai, Buenos Aires and Sydney) will opens its doors to its first club in east Asia. The club aims to offer an Ibiza style experience to the growing club scene in Macau.
