3. Pier 39
Bring the family down to Pier 39 for a full day’s worth of activities! Want to see something truly unique to San Francisco? View the seals as they make their way to the rocks on the bay. Got the shopping bug? Go ahead and check out a ton of novelty stores (like the Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. outlet filled with memorabilia from the movie Forrest Gump). 5. Fisherman’s Wharf
Craving for a food trip? Take the family over to Fisherman’s Wharf and start sampling seafood that is uniquely San Franciscan. We suggest finding crabs (a Filipino favorite) and clam chowder to quench hunger pangs. Aside from food, take more postcard-worthy pictures of the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz Prison and the sea lions.
